Job description

Summary
Hamrick's is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Loss Prevention Supervisor to oversee the physical security operations of our retail, corporate office area, and distribution complex. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating with the Safety Team, and responding to incidents as necessary. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CCTV systems, computer applications, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
On-Call Weekends & After-Hours as needed
Responsibilities
  • Oversee physical security for the entire complex, including access control and surveillance.
  • Monitor and manage CCTV systems, ensuring proper function and timely retrieval of footage for investigations.
  • Conduct routine security audits, inspections, and walkthroughs of the facility to identify vulnerabilities or safety concerns.
  • Serve as the primary contact for security incidents and loss prevention matters and be available to return to the site during emergencies or when called upon.
  • Work closely with the Safety Team to address immediate safety concerns, incidents, or hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, inspections, and investigations.
  • Provide written documentation of events, observations, and recommendations to management and safety personnel.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer applications for data tracking, incident logging, and reporting.
  • Support and train staff in security procedures, protocols, and emergency response plans.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company loss prevention and safety policies.
  • Primarily on-site at the complex.
  • Regular walking and standing required for facility inspections.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a security-related role.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loss prevention, physical security, or safety management.
  • Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telecommunication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You must be able to respond on-site during off-hours or weekends as needed.

Required Experience
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial setting.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and emergency response practices.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a security-related role.
