Job description

Description

Warehouse Workers will stack, move, verify, label, and organize product. Employees will operate industrial warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach lifts. Employees will also be cross-trained to perform various jobs including order selecting. The desired candidate will need good oral and written communication skills as well as basic math abilities. Candidates must be able to work with or without close supervision, be a part of a team oriented work force, and have the ability to work weekends and varying shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:

Certification required for operation of forklift and/or pallet jack.

Other city, county, state, or federal certifications may be required.

COMMUNICATION:

Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.

COMPUTER:

Basic computer skills preferred.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related job experience and/or training are preferred.

EQUIPMENT:

Required to use or operate pallet jack, forklift, box cutters, two-wheeler, six-wheeler, baler, ladder, etc.

MINIMUM AGE:

18 years of age.

REASONABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.
