This position is also being announced to applicants eligible to apply through Merit Staffing procedures under
26-ARW-13053892-MS.Qualifications:GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level which can also be obtained in either the private or public. Specialized experience is defined as:
  • developing, implementing and/or maintaining a comprehensive financial management system;
  • advising management on recommendations and/or alternative approaches to improve program plans, budget proposals, costs of operations and/or program accomplishments;
  • providing a wide variety of budget reporting, including monthly financial and/or quarterly reports;
  • reviewing financial data and accounting documents for budget execution activities as obligations, payments, corrections, and adjustments;
  • utilizing an automated financial management information system to enter financial data and track funds.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
