Job description

Sets up the tray line, assembles and serves meals.  May also prepare salads, desserts, beverages and other miscellaneous food items.  Occasionally, may deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units.  Stocks reach-in-coolers, condiment stations, and workstations with proper items.  Maintains cleanliness of work area.


REQUIRED

  1. Six (6) months of Food Service experience.

PREFERRED

  1. Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
  1. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications.
  1. Current BLS card (CPR). Class will be provided upon hire.
