  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with high school writing standards and common challenges such as developing analytical depth beyond summary, integrating textual evidence smoothly, and managing research paper scope. Adapts instruction using rubric-aligned feedback, mentor text analysis, and progressive writing assignments to support students from general English through AP levels building college-ready writing competencies.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
