About the Role
Tutor Me Education is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable Tutor to join our team! If you are a dedicated individual who feels a sense of pride and accomplishment in helping students achieve academic success, this is the perfect opportunity to give back to your community.
As an In-Home Tutor, you will provide personalized 1:1 instruction directly in the student's home to help them build confidence, master their coursework, and thrive academically.
Position Details & Flexibility
  • Location: In-person / In-home instruction in Sacramento, CA.
  • Compensation: Starts at $25.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Consistent Monday-Friday afternoon sessions.
  • Hours: Approximately 2-3 hours per week per student. This offers an excellent, low-stress supplemental schedule!
  • Opportunity for Growth: While this role begins with a single client, there is a strong possibility to take on multiple students to expand your weekly hours if you choose.
Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, 1:1 tutoring sessions directly in the student's home within the Sacramento area.
  • Assist with homework, exam preparation, and foundational skill-building.
  • Act as a positive academic mentor, building the student's confidence and learning skills.
  • Maintain professional, brief updates for parents regarding their child's weekly progress.
