Position Description:

We are looking for a Construction Inspector to join our Construction Team for work in Islamorada, FL. The candidate must have a High School Diploma and 5 to 10 years of experience with water booster pump station jobs. A valid driver's license is required. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
Typical responsibilities include:
Conduct field inspections
Record inspection daily reports
Monitor construction operations
Act as the onsite liaison with client and community
Organize and maintain construction documentation
Develop an understanding of plans and specifications
Assist Project Manager with contract requirements
Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
Attend seminars and/or training courses
Maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
High School Diploma is required 
Civil engineering degree preferred 
Skills/Experience:
5 to 10 years experience as an inspector 
Experience with water booster pump station jobs - inside the fence work 
Valid driver's license 
This position requires computer knowledge, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as documentation skills at all levels
