How You'll Contribute:
As an Actuarial Intern, you will support product development, pricing, and product management activities for index annuities, fixed annuities, and life insurance. You'll contribute to evaluating competitor products, monitoring industry trends, and assisting with system testing. This role works closely with actuarial team members and other departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and innovation. What You'll Do:
  • Perform system testing and quality control for new products, product enhancements, and system changes.
  • Conduct competitive studies, participate in industry surveys, and summarize key findings.
  • Collect and analyze data, perform experience studies, and present insights.
  • Research and resolve issues using problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Support the actuarial team and other departments on special projects as needed.

What You'll Bring:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university or college, pursuing a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

Experience:
  • Preference for students who have passed at least one actuarial exam (Society of Actuaries).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
