Salary Range:ย  $23 - $28/hourย 

The Field Operations Intern supports Superintendents and Project Managers by assisting with safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and job site documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in field coordination, schedule management, and construction quality within a dynamic construction environment.ย 

Responsibilities / Essential Functionsย 
  • Support the administration of the project safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.ย 
  • Provide technical assistance by interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.ย 
  • Assist the assistant superintendent, superintendent, and project manager with daily and weekly activities, including preparing daily reports, conducting safety walks, compiling quantity reports, and updating project schedules.ย 
  • Develop a clear understanding of the overall project schedule, including critical path analysis.ย 
  • Review and contribute to the short-term planning process to ensure project milestones are met.ย 
  • Participate in the quality assurance program by attending meetings, performing site inspections, and verifying materials for compliance with project specifications.ย 
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities to support adherence to project timelines and safety requirements.ย 
  • Maintain project documentation such as daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking to support effective communication and record-keeping.ย 
  • Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to facilitate uninterrupted project progress.ย 
  • Participate in project team meetings, communicating updates, challenges, and potential solutions.ย 
  • Observe and report site conditions that could impact schedule, cost, or safety.ย 
  • Utilize construction management software and tools to accurately track and update project information.ย
