Room Attendant:
Provides cleaning services for guests and owners throughout the Stein Collection. Communicates needs and observations to the inspector directly or via telephone dispatcher. Cleans assigned guest rooms in a timely manner while occupied or after departure, includes kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Essential Functions:
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, being able to stand, walk for long periods of time
  • Cleans assigned guest rooms in a timely manner while occupied or after departure, includes kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas
  • Sorts, counts, folds, marks or carries linens
  • Makes beds
  • Replenishes supplies, such as drinking glasses and writing supplies
  • Carries cleaning supplies from site to site
  • Maintains orderliness of linen closets in assigned area
  • Reports deficiencies or malfunctions in guest rooms
  • Coordinates activities with house attendant
  • Communicates room is ready for inspection via dispatcher
  • Prepares necessary cleaning supplies
  • General cleans specific rooms in conjunction with house attendant
  • Any other duties assigned
