Job Description

Responsibilities 
Work closely with subject matter experts to distill complex technical concepts and procedures into clear, actionable documentation. 
Write original, high quality online help materials (concept overviews, instructional materials, policies, technical feed specifications). 
Integrate feedback from a number of stakeholders and varying perspectives to create a cohesive, partner-focused end product. 
Apply Google-specific style and technical guidelines. 
Minimum qualifications 
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly. 
Ability to write in a range of styles and tones, from highly technical to more informal. 
Proven ability to maintain multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently, and drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and high attention to detail. 
Preferred qualifications 
Graphic and creative sensibilities (e.g. ability to visualize content elements and work with creative team to execute). 
Experience with and/or writing about complex technology-based products for a technically-savvy audience - excellent quick study in technical concepts. 
Clear understanding of business needs and sensitivity to differences across various groups (functions, regions, etc). 
Persistence to iterate, refine and improve constantly.
