Job Title: Kids World Program Staff
Location: Roosevelt Early Learning Center (Preschool & Kindergarten)
Description: Faribault Public Schools is seeking several Program Staff to work with children in Preschool and Kindergarten, for our Before and After School Child Care Program. Position is Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to work during program hours before school from 6:45am-9:00am and/or after school from 2:45pm-5:00pm. Shifts will be a set schedule and may range from 1 hour up to 3.75 hours per day. This position requires working on non-school days.
Pay range: $16.24/hr - $18.52/hr depending on experience. Additional bonus stipend for hours working directly with children may be issued quarterly as long as grant funds are available through MN DHS Great Start Compensation Support Program.
Essential Functions: Supervising a large group of students; preparing and leading activities for school-age children in a classroom setting; assisting with toileting needs; keeping accurate attendance; working collaboratively with other staff; having good relationships with families; and maintaining a fun, positive, clean, and safe environment for the children. Daily contact with parents. Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is a must for this position. This position will begin approximately August 31, 2026 and commences on June 3, 2027.
Qualifications: Experience working with and leading activities for preschool-age and/or school-age children. Experience in special education is preferred. Able to communicate effectively with other program staff, program managers, coordinator, parents, and children. Must be at least 16 years of age. Prefer some postsecondary education in the fields of Education, Early Childhood or other related fields and/or hours worked within a school or childcare setting. First Aid and CPR certification required (willing to train if needed). District Paraprofessionals, High School Students, and College Students are encouraged to apply. Possible summer employment to those that are interested.
