Learning amp; Development Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Miamisburg, OH (Onsite)

Your Impact
As a Learning amp; Development Intern, you will help build and strengthen learning experiences that enable Accelevation employees to grow their skills, advance their careers, and contribute to business success. Working closely with Learning amp; Development and HR leaders, you will support projects related to onboarding, career development, learning analytics, resource management, and employee engagement.
This role provides hands-on experience in instructional design, data analysis, project management, learning technologies, and organizational development while contributing meaningful work that supports Accelevation’s people development strategy.
Internship Overview
An internship at Accelevation is not a summer of shadowing and busy work. We design, manufacture, and install the critical infrastructure that powers some of the world's most advanced technologies. As an intern, you will work alongside industry experts on meaningful projects with real deadlines, real responsibilities, and real impact.
You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturing leaders, and project managers who are solving complex challenges and shaping the future of critical infrastructure. From our manufacturing center in Southwest Ohio to the mission-critical environments behind many of the world's largest data centers, you will gain firsthand exposure to how innovative ideas become reality.
More importantly, you will build lasting connections. You will join a cohort of interns who learn and grow together, while developing relationships with mentors who will support your career long after your internship ends. You will leave with more than experience. You will leave with new skills, meaningful relationships, and a deeper understanding of how your work can help build the future.
Your Responsibilities
  • Define, design, and facilitate engaging Learning Power Hour sessions
  • Assist in creating new hire learning roadmaps, including required training, role-specific resources, and recommended learning activities
  • Organize and maintain learning materials and resources within Insider to ensure easy accessibility and usability
  • Categorize learning resources by skill, role, department, and development need
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize learning data, including course completion rates, learner feedback, utilization metrics, skills gaps, and program effectiveness
  • Support the creation and maintenance of presentations, guides, job aids, videos, and other learning resources
  • Assist with learning and career development initiatives across the organization
  • Support employee engagement and development projects as assigned
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field, or recently graduated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear and engaging learning materials
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage learning resources, information, and project documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, professional work
  • Comfortable using digital tools to create presentations, documents, guides, videos, and training materials
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in evaluating learning effectiveness and employee development data
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for developing practical learning solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Employees must be able to communicate effectively and work in both office and manufacturing environments as needed. This role requires extensive computer use, collaboration with team members, and participation in meetings, training events, and learning initiatives.
  • Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer screens, and reviewing documents. Employees may occasionally stand, walk, and move throughout office and manufacturing facilities.
  • The work environment is primarily office-based with moderate noise levels. Occasional visits to production areas may be required, where appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.
