Job Description

Data Management Senior Analysts are primarily responsible for leading the Data workstream within the AGS Implementation process on complex projects. In addition, Sr Analysts are responsible for all VMS loads that have financial impacts to AGS (Job Title, Rate and Worker Modifications). Sr. Analyst is responsible for gathering and validating incumbent worker/project/rate data from a variety of sources, analyzing, resolving data gaps, quality checking data, transforming data and uploading it into a VMS. Sr. Analysts will be utilized on more complex and high-profile implementation projects and may be assigned an Associate to work with them for training purposes. Sr. Analysts would also assess potential risk to both the organization and to the project as part of the workstream. Sr. Analysts participate in quality checking/auditing peer data loads and assisting/mentoring Data Management Analysts and Associates as part of their training. The Data Management Sr. Analyst should be able to execute job responsibilities independently and with an understanding of how output would affect and impact other operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workstream to collect, organize and validate data using a proprietary AGS data collection tool for complex implementation projects.
  • Develops, reviews, and sets clear expectations on the data management approach and timelines with other workstream Leads and Clients
  • Collect, interpret and analyze large data sets from various sources including Client, Supplier and Internal.
  • Perform analysis on data for quality and accuracy in large data sets, work to resolve data issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute ETL process in order to scrub final data sets, build upload templates, and upload data into VMS.
  • Implement procedures related to the secure and efficient handling and sharing of data.
  • Perform quality audit of peer and/or team data sets.
  • Attend and be an active participant in all assigned project meetings, communicate status of projects on weekly client-facing status calls.
  • Partner with various workstream owners to execute required project deliverables and remove roadblocks.
  • Lead any workstream specific calls around data discovery or data validation with client or supplier.
  • Prepare summaries of data collection status for team updates.
  • Follow established project schedule and adhere to deadlines, escalate as necessary if deadlines will be missed.
  • Act as VMS SME to identify areas of risk efficiency when loading worker, project or rate data.
  • Perform rate audits and system configuration checks.
  • Build Reports in VMS system.
  • Facilitate data quality/mapping checks for data warehouse and liaison with other teams for updates and corrections.
  • Provide support on other various Data Management project initiatives.
  • Ensure standards are applied to programs and exceptions are documented.
  • Responsible for data quality and implementing processes which drive efficiency and support data governance.
  • Establishes Strong internal and external relationships and identifies opportunities to deliver the best solutions for our clients.
  • Provides technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.
  • Makes recommendations to Data Management Manager for enhancements/improvements to processes.
  • Meets standards for efficiency, quality of data and timeliness in meeting deadlines.
  • Maintains Process documentation of activities and services.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience doing data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (proficiency with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, charts and graphs).
  • Proven Experience managing data.
  • Excellent Attention to detail.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written to internal and external customers.
  • Experience with data entry, analyzing information, decision making, organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of resources from AGS, our Technology Partners, our Clients, and reach consensus resolution on issues.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must have ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks with multiple deadlines. Ability to adapt quickly and possess flexibility with working in a constantly evolving field.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and learning on the fly.

Additional Information

Per Salary Transparency: The compensation for this position is $65,000 + $6,500 annual bonus
