Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a technical associate to the Region Operations Manager, providing technical guidance and assistance to the area field personnel.
  • Prepares and reviews Operating Budget forecasts and revisions for assigned properties.
  • Monitors individual well and lease economics. Prepares workover recommendations in a timely manner in accordance with prudent practices and appropriate economic parameters.
  • Closely monitors workover operations, consults and advises the Region Operations Manager, Production Foreman and Region Superintendent during the operation. Provides on-site supervision during the operations as required.
  • Monitors production and waterflood injection on assigned properties to maintain maximum efficient oil and gas production rates.
  • Evaluates existing well completions and designs new well completions to determine most efficient production design at minimum installation and operating costs.
  • Recommends stimulation treatments to improve producing rates.
  • Reviews wells for workover and recompletion potential and prepares P&A recommendations.
  • Supervises workover, stimulations, completions, installations of producing equipment, testing of wells, installation and replacement of flowline and injection lines, etc.
  • Prepares drilling prognoses, AFEโ€™s, and procedures for drilling and deepening operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 10+ years of industry experience in equivalent roles.
