To thrive in a professional role working with cats, such as a veterinary technician, animal behaviorist, or shelter worker, you need a solid understanding of feline health, behavior, and care, often supported by relevant certifications or training in animal science or veterinary technology. Familiarity with animal handling equipment, medical records systems, and diagnostic tools is typically required.
