What You'll Do

  • Provide compassionate personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and lifting clients when appropriate and in accordance with safe lifting practices.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
  • Work comfortably in homes with cats and dogs, providing care while respecting clients' beloved pets.
  • Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.
  • Build meaningful relationships while helping clients maintain their independence.
Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving, home care, PCA, or CNA experience preferred.
  • Current CNA certification is a plus but not required.
  • Must be comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs.
  • Must be physically able to assist with client transfers and lifting as required for the client's care plan.
  • Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional attitude.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
