What does working in a warehouse involve?

Working in a warehouse typically involves tasks such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and maintaining inventory. Warehouse workers often use equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods. The job can require physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Safety procedures and efficiency are important aspects of the role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a warehouse worker?

To thrive as a Warehouse Worker, you need physical stamina, attention to detail, basic math skills, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Most warehouses also provide on-the-job training and encourage collaboration to help new team members adapt quickly.
