Job description

As a warehouse specialist, you’ll ensure that Progressive’s physical assets (office furniture and cubicle materials) are received, refurbished, accounted for, and shipped in a secure, organized manner. In this role, you’ll work alongside a team in a warehouse environment to achieve department goals. In addition, you’ll deliver and pick up furniture and other assets from Progressive buildings in the area.

This position will require you to report to our office in Mayfield Village, Ohio.

Schedule

  • Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM ET

Must-have qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher
  • If required to drive up to a 26' box truck (Non-CDL), must pass DOT medical examination prior to hiring
  • This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policies

Preferred skills

  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, tow motors).
  • Demonstrated experience with shipping, receiving, and refurbishing furniture.
  • Experience working with office workstation cubicle furniture.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with outsourced resources and services. 

Compensation

  • $31,200 - $46,400/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance

  • Ability to work outdoors, including ability to tolerate extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to move and/or lift 85 lbs.

  • Required to frequently walk, sit, bend and kneel.
  • Required to use hands and fingers to operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • Required to climb, balance, stoop, crouch and crawl.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Involves operating machinery, heavy machinery and/or equipment.
  • May be required to drive up to a 26' box truck (Non-CDL).
