This role will manage anddevelop a Senior Accountant, own the global consolidation process, and partnercross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable financial reporting for afast-growing, multinational company. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shapeglobal accounting processes, mentor a growing team, and directly influence howSnyk understands and reports on its financial performance worldwide.Role ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor a Senior Accountant, providing guidance on dailyaccounting operations, technical accounting questions, and professionaldevelopment.Own the global consolidation process, including intercompanyeliminations, foreign currency translation, and multi-entity reporting inNetSuite.Oversee the monthly financial close for the United States and Canada,reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for accuracy andcompleteness.Review and approve account reconciliations in FloQast, ensuring eachaccount on the trial balance is properly supported and signed off.Lead monthly flux analysis across global entities, identifying andexplaining material movements in account balances and headcount.Leverage relationships with business partners (e.g., legal, people) tostandardize accounting policies and processes across internationalentities.Document and strengthen internal controls across cash, prepaid, fixedasset, and other general ledger cycles on a global basis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Tax, and Revenue,to resolve issues, implement new systems, and ensure accurate financialrecords.Partner with FP&A to ensure global expenses are properly booked andallocated to the correct cost centers and entities.Drive process automation and improvement initiatives to ensure globalaccounting processes are scalable, efficient, and audit ready.Support SOX compliance and coordinate with external auditors on bothUS and international audit requirements.Collaborate with the Tax Team on transfer pricing GL support and otherglobal tax accounting matters.QualificationsEssential:7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including publicaccounting and/or a corporate finance department of a multinationalcompany.Prior experience managing, mentoring, or reviewing the work ofaccounting staff.Hands-on experience with global consolidations, multi-currencyaccounting, and intercompany eliminations.Strong Excel skills with advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivottables.Demonstrates knowledge of AI tools like Gemini or Claude, with theability to leverage them in key accounting tasks.Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to implement newsystems and create related process documentation.Experience preparing for and supporting SOX and external audits,including international entities.Experience preparing and explaining flux analysis across multiple entities.Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.Preferred:Experience working in a SaaS company.Proficient in NetSuite or other ERP systemsExperience in FloQast, Google Suite, Excel, and AI platformsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials preferred.We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech.
