Someone who brings not only exceptional technical expertise but also a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. As our ideal candidate, you thrive in customer interactions and helping customers achieve their goals. You also have experience working in a law firm or legal department on substantive legal matters, and have exposure to using AI tools to support legal work. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive workflow consulting services to our customers, ensuring seamless integration and utilization across our portfolio of software solutions. You will play a critical role in optimizing customer workflows, increasing efficiency, driving adoption, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the needs of legal professionals, and practical experience performing legal work in a legal environment, including using AI tools to improve productivity and quality.

What your team does:

Our Professional Services team is dedicated to helping customers fully realize the value of Clio's product suite. Our team members are smart system thinkers who strengthen long-term adoption by translating complex needs into clear, efficient solutions and guiding customers through meaningful operational change.

What you'll work on:
  • Talk to potential professional services customers to position the value of workflow packages and assist with closing opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce and other systems.

  • Become an expert on Clio's suite of products and the value opportunities it offers to help streamline legal workflows.

  • Collaborate with customers to assess their current workflows, identify pain points, and recommend workflow enhancements using Clio's legal software suite.

  • Conduct comprehensive account setup and configuration services, ensuring the software aligns with customer workflows, business processes and best practices.

  • Assist customers in setting up efficient document generation workflows using a portfolio of Clio's suite of products.

  • Leverage prior legal experience to improve workflows related to substantive legal tasks (e.g., legal drafting, legal research, legal strategy, etc.).

  • Support customers in adopting AI-powered features for legal work while reinforcing best practices and responsible use.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their implementation and adoption journey while maintaining high-standards of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to workflow packages based on customer needs/feedback and sales performance.

  • Share insights and customer feedback to become an advocate for customers with internal stakeholders and contribute to product enhancements and improvements.

What you may have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven ability to configure and customize software solutions, translating complex workflows into simple, customer-aligned strategies.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, with a track record of identifying customer needs and influencing outcomes through clear presentation and negotiation.

  • A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI with hands-on experience for drafting, research, summarization, or workflow support.

  • Genuine empathy, strong interpersonal skills and ability to make customers feel appreciated and valued.

  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset, constantly thinking outside the box to employ creative solutions where appropriate.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while exercising good independent professional judgment.

Serious bonus points if you:
  • 1+ years of legal experience and/or training at a paralegal or higher level.

  • Experience helping implement new tools or process changes within a law firm.

  • Ability to design and build automation processes using Excel/Google Sheets, Slack workflows, or scripting languages (e.g., SQL).

  • A strong understanding of cloud-based legal technologies together with a demonstrated understanding of the legal industry and the needs of legal professionals.

This role is a backfill for an existing position.
