Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a major national laboratory.  The successful candidate will provide development, customization, and support services for the enterprise ServiceNow platform to enhance operational efficiency and align with business needs. This includes developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and modules, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, and maintaining existing workflows, integrations, and automation scripts. The developer will troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to ensure high availability and performance, support upgrades and testing activities, and provide thorough documentation and knowledge transfer. Deliverables will include customized applications and modules, updated workflows and integrations, issue resolution reports, and comprehensive documentation of all changes and configurations.

 Responsibilities
  • ServiceNow development, including designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, and CWM
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly scripting, and AngularJS.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow update sets, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and service catalog.
  • Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Security and Access Control Rules.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and features.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and gather requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus minimum 5 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Hybrid schedule: onsite for two weeks per month

Required Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

Competitive Salary Range: $119,050-$129,050.
