Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a construction and contractor-focused organization in Appleton, Wisconsin in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who can translate business needs into clear requirements, support testing efforts, and help drive solutions through implementation in a manufacturing-related environment. The position calls for strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across stakeholders to improve business and production processes.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify needs, define objectives, and document detailed functional and process requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate discussions into clear documentation for technical and operational teams.
• Coordinate and support regression testing activities to confirm system changes perform as expected before release.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, tracking results, and helping resolve issues with project teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to move approved enhancements and updates into production environments.
• Analyze current workflows and perform gap assessments to recommend process improvements aligned with manufacturing operations.
• Prepare and deliver concise updates, reports, and presentations for leadership and project stakeholders.
• Support Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to planning, prioritization, and execution of business analysis deliverables.• 7+ years of experience in business analysis roles.
• Background supporting manufacturing environments is required.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Hands-on experience with regression testing and user acceptance testing processes.
• Familiarity with production workflows and the coordination of releases into production.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and collaborative project delivery.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and communicate findings clearly to business and technical audiences.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
