Job description

PRODUCTION WORKER
Production Worker Qualifications and Experience:
  • Individual must be at least 18 years of age
  • Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred

Production Worker Responsibilities:
  • Ability to perform a variety of work tasks with acceptable quality and productivity rates.
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment, i.e., bindery, packaging, mailing or woodworking machinery.
  • Responsibility for personal product quality assurance, final inspection and packaging as required.
  • Basic understanding of equipment in order to identify proper functioning.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to keep production records as required.
  • Quality - know, understand and follow quality control procedures - complete quality inspections - notify supervisor/lead of any non-conformances.
  • Authority/responsibility to stop production due to quality issue.
  • Willingness to complete first aid and CPR training and certification if requested to.

Production Worker Requirements:
  • Ability to produce at required rate and quality of assigned job.
  • Ability to facilitate and respond to verbal, written, computerized, fax communications.
  • Ability to operate production electrical/motor driven equipment and machinery.
  • Mobility to access various locations within ODC facility.
  • Ability to perform quality inspection according to ODC's and/or customer's requirements.
  • Bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, standing, sitting, walking frequently required.
  • Lifting 25 - 35 lbs frequently - up to 60 pounds occasionally
