We partner with organizations to design and implement scalable, high-impact Workday solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to support client implementations and deliver exceptional outcomes.
The Role
The Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant is a client-facing role responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions. This role focuses on external client delivery across full lifecycle implementations and post-production optimization.
The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of Absence and Time Tracking and can translate business requirements into effective, scalable system configurations.
This role is remote-first, with travel aligned to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Client Implementation & Delivery
  • Support end-to-end Workday Absence and Time Tracking implementations
  • Participate in discovery and design sessions to gather business requirements
  • Configure Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules
  • Assist in translating client needs into functional system design

Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure key areas including: absence plans and accruals, time tracking rules and validations, work schedules and calendars, time entry, approvals,, and exceptions
  • Support functional design documentation
  • Validate system configurations with client stakeholders

Testing & Deployment
  • Support system testing and validation
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Help guide clients through go-live readiness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues

Post-Production Support
  • Support clients with enhancements and optimization
  • Provide guidance on Workday updates and new features
  • Assist with reporting and audit support related to Absence and Time Tracking

Travel Expectations
  • Travel up to 20-30%, depending on client requirements
  • Travel typically tied to key milestones such as design workshops or go-live
  • Majority of delivery conducted virtually

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking experience
  • Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking certification preferred
  • Experience supporting Workday implementations or post-production support
  • Strong understanding of time tracking and leave policies
  • Ability to work directly with clients and gather requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
