Job description

Visiting Angels, a top provider of private, in-home care services, is looking for caring and compassionate caregivers to become part of our care professional family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults. If you are looking for a rewarding career opportunity with the Best Home Care Provider in the Monroeville area then Visiting Angels is the place for you!
We currently have shifts available to start immediately!
Benefits of working for Visiting Angels:
  • Competitive pay between $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Part-Time and Full-Time Shifts Available:
  • Pick your own schedule - very flexible!
  • Daytime Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours
  • Evening/Overnight shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours
  • Weekend shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:
  • Assistance with personal hygiene, grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with ambulatory needs
  • Assistance with medication reminders
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Provide transportation to doctors appointments or shopping as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Build fulfilling one-on-one relationships with clients!

Qualifications to be a professional Caregiver with Visiting Angels:
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with compassion, dignity and respect
  • Willingness to complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
  • Need to have a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance

If you have experience in adult daycare, assisting adults with disabilities, experience as an HHA/DSP (former or current), experience in the medical field, or are a retired teacher, veteran or other professional who eagerly contributes to your community, Visiting Angels want to hear from you!
