Required Skills

  • General/Entry level financial knowledge to support operational planning (OP) and budget activities, tracking costs against targets, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow.
  • Maintain Action Tracker and drive the team for closure of the actions
  • Requesting operations team for Quality Gate details
  • Representing Operations team in handover meetings.
  • Identifying part / material shortages ahead to reduce the impact to factory.
  • Modify SAP according to Travel work and maintain documentation.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow. 
  • May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. 
  • Develops and provides time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes.  
  • Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.
  • Performs trend analysis of shop performance measures (KPI) to identify risk and opportunities for improvements.

  • Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of IE tools used in production: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
  • Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications:

·      US Citizen

·      2. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace or manufacturing engineering

·      3. 5 to 10 years working experience with ME & MRO activities in aerospace programs
