CPSGT - Certified Polysomnographic Technologist
MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare system to recruit a Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT). This full-time role is essential for diagnosing sleep disorders and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct overnight, daytime, and home sleep studies (polysomnography) following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Monitor and record brain activity, muscle movement, and vital signs to assess sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
  • Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Score and analyze sleep data, creating detailed reports for review by physicians or sleep specialists.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.
Certified Polysomnographic Technologist Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience with sleep study equipment and software, along with familiarity with sleep disorder treatments.
