Job description

Summary:Leads a crew of 2-4 technicians primarily in repairs related to carpentry, dry rot, drywall, painting,

stucco, retaining walls, hardscape, minor electrical and plumbing, and miscellaneous job site needs. This role is

responsible for driving the efficiency and quality of our self-performed work, leading by example, and upholding quality and care standards for both customers and employees.


Key Responsibilities:

Crew Management:

o Oversee all repair technicians with repair work on customer properties.

o Own the crew's quality, cleanliness and job site efficiency; enforce safety standards, best

practices methods, and company policies on job sites.


Repair Preparation:

o Study and understand tasks and scope of work prior to starting repairs, collaborate with repair

manager on scope of work clarity for crew success.

o Check calendars in advance to ensure adequate time is provided to crews, and to facilitate a

smooth schedule that allows for quality repairs to be performed.


Communication:

o Prioritize customer care and sympathize with homeowners when approached.

o Fast and accurate response times, anticipate questions and proactively develop answers.

o Maintain daily reports to the Repair Manager, including photos and written summaries of work

completed, issues, incomplete tasks, punch lists, etc.


What We're Looking For:

Repair and/or construction experience in jurisdictions like Atherton, Woodside, Los

Altos Hills, Palo Alto, etc.

Punctual and communicative, self-driven to find solutions and show a proactive approach; must have a

proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Reactive and passive attitudes will not be sustainable.

Independently resourceful problem solver, with team-focused results.


Qualifications:

5+ years experience in a lead role responsible for at least 2 technicians

Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Valid driver's license and insurance and auto insurance. Solid driving record.
