Description
Student workers provide general office and administrative support under varying levels of supervision. Tasks are typically routine in nature and may range from simple to moderately complex, depending on the assignment. Workers are expected to follow verbal and written instructions, demonstrate attention to detail, and use sound judgment when selecting appropriate procedures for completing tasks.
Qualifications
Current TVCC student who has received work study clearance from:
  • TVCC financial aid office
  • Department Supervisor
Prior to assuming student worker duties each semester, TVCC student workers are required to complete confidentiality/FERPA training and attest to performing their student worker duties in a confidential manner. TVCC student workers are limited to the number of hours that they may work each week as determined by the TVCC financial aid office and departmental supervisor.

UNALLOWABLE AND/OR PROHIBITED DUTIES:
  • Log in to any TVCC system (including MyCardinalConnect, Canvas, Email, etc.) and perform tasks using supervisors TVCC credentials.
  • Have access to review and/or enter other students grades for courses in which they are enrolled.
  • Travel off campus to perform TVCC student worker duties.
  • Work more hours than approved by the TVCC financial aid office and supervisor.

This position is not eligible for benefits.
