General Summary
Key responsibilities include preparing materials, coordinating room setups, managing guest communications, contributing creative ideas, and evaluating event success. Essential skills are organization, detail-orientation, strong communication, customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Specific Position Duties
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Assist with event logistics, venue selection, vendor management, and timeline management.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Help create and distribute event materials, develop social media content, and assist with publicizing events to maximize attendance.
  • Attendee & Candidate Management: Manage event registration systems, track attendance, answer attendee/candidate inquiries, and provide information.
  • On-Site Event Support: Assist with event setup, coordination, and teardown, ensuring a smooth and successful event.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform data entry, manage event schedules, maintain files, organize office supplies, and handle general administrative tasks.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication with clients, vendors, and attendees to meet expectations and address needs.
  • Recruitment Event Assistance: Support the human resources (HR) team by assisting with job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for recruitment events.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal & Customer Service Skills: A people person! Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong customer service abilities.
