Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, improve uptime, and reduce waste.
  • Assist in layout design, equipment selection, and capacity planning.
  • Lead and contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
  • Evaluate materials and textile processes to ensure consistent product performance.
  • Collaborate with R amp;D, design, and quality teams to support new product development.
  • Track key production metrics and use data to drive improvements.
  • Support capital improvement projects and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing and other industry standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 0โ€“3 years of experience in a manufacturing or textile environment (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Strong interest in problem-solving, critical thinking, and hands-on learning.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
  • Proficiency in CAD, Excel, and data analysis tools (AutoCAD, Minitab, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):
  • Exposure to carpet, rug, or nonwoven textile manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with tufting weaving, dyeing, or finishing operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.).
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or similar).
