Description:

The anticipated start date for this position is June 2026, though we are open to the individual starting in August 2026 if needed.

The Student Financial Aid Office Assistant will greet all students, parents, and others who enter the Financial Aid Office. Office hours 8am-5pm Monday – Friday. Must be Work-study eligible.

Responsibilities:

  1. Covering the front desk
  2. Answering the phone
  3. Filing
  4. Data entry
  5. Scanning
  6. Shredding
  7. Organizing
Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  1. Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours).
  2. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  3. Handle confidential information with integrity.
  4. Good customer service skills.
  5. Ability to stand for long periods of time while alphabetizing and filing paperwork.
  6. Basic computer knowledge.
  7. Detail oriented.
  8. Self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
