Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing invites applications for full-time faculty positions within the Department of Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs. This evergreen posting will be used to identify qualified candidates for current and future faculty opportunities.
Faculty members provide high-quality graduate nursing education, mentorship, and expertise in nursing administration and research. Responsibilities may include teaching, curriculum development, program evaluation, and the integration of course content across graduate nursing programs.
Faculty will collaborate with departmental and college leadership to support program goals and student success. Positions may be located on the Little Rock or Northwest Arkansas campus and are full-time, 12-month appointments. Tenure-track and non-tenure-track opportunities may be available.
Upon approval, eligible faculty may enter into a practice agreement that allows a portion of their appointment to be supported through clinical practice.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree in nursing
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • Eligibility for Registered Nurse licensure in Arkansas
