Are you taking classes at Ivy Tech in Bloomington? Our campus has expanded our Federal Work Study Program and partnered with area agencies and schools that provide internship-type positions for our college students. Gain meaningful experience and earn extra income while pursuing your degree.
Work-Study positions are federally funded, part-time positions and are located off campus. Each position will have a specific set of responsibilities that will be explained during the interview process. Positions include elementary reading tutors, youth program assistants, IT support, administrative support, human services assistants, animal caretaking and more.

  • Federal Work Study Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
  • FAFSA: Applicants must complete a 2025-26 FAFSA.
  • Enrollment: Students must be enrolled in degree-seeking courses.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Students must maintain an aid-eligible SAP status.
