Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
Department/Employer Operating Hours
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
How many hours per week are required?
10-12 hours per week
Description of Primary Duties
Assist with lab and fieldwork. Lab work includes water quality analysis, water and plant sample processing, and other lab tasks. Fieldwork will include conducting plant surveys, floating wetland maintenance, and water sample collection from a canoe or a small boat. Start date: as soon as possible. This is an ongoing position depending on work study award. Hours might vary when we are doing fieldwork.
Required Qualifications
Previous lab experience or completed at least one college science lab class.
