Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

The role involves working within an interventional radiology setting. The average number of cases per day is approximately 3. The department utilizes an electronic medical record system. There is a charge nurse or house supervisor available on each shift. Operating room technicians are present to assist as needed. Call requirements include 1-2 weeknight calls and weekend calls with a set rotation. Floating within like units may be required to assist surgical staff. Client-provided scrubs are the required dress code. The orientation will consist of shadowing a hospital surgical technician for one week. The call response time is 30 minutes. Candidates must understand the importance of a drug-free workplace and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
