Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in commercial and/or industrial settings. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand and power tools.
- Install valves, pumps, supports, and other piping components.
- Perform pressure testing and inspect piping systems for leaks and proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work safely in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
Qualifications:
- Pipefitter apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of pipefitting experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings.
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, copper, and other piping materials.
- Knowledge of pipe threading, grooving, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening if required.
- Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
- OSHA (10-30) Certified
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
