Job description

Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in commercial and/or industrial settings. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.


Responsibilities:


  • Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Install valves, pumps, supports, and other piping components.
  • Perform pressure testing and inspect piping systems for leaks and proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work safely in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.


Qualifications:


  • Pipefitter apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of pipefitting experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings.
  • Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, copper, and other piping materials.
  • Knowledge of pipe threading, grooving, welding, and fabrication techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening if required.
  • Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
  • OSHA (10-30) Certified


Physical Requirements:


  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
