Position: Pipefitter

Location:West Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $36 per hour


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials
  • Ensure all installations are in compliance with safety regulations
  • Perform inspections and troubleshooting of piping systems
  • Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a pipefitter or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and materials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have safety-conscious mindset and adhere to OSHA standards
