Job description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing automation code in Java, building robust Selenium frameworks, validating data using SQL, and ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing practices. What will you do? * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. * Evaluate developer implementations, independently analyze requirements, and engineer comprehensive test scenarios that validate expected functionality while identifying potential failure conditions. * Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test scenarios. * Perform both manual and automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle. * Validate application data using SQL queries across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases. * Conduct testing using repeatable processes based on industry best practices and document test results. * Ensure QA and testing approaches address known vulnerabilities and follow established testing best practices. * Maintain, configure, and update testing environments. * Work collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving development environment. Do you have what it takes? * Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one of employment. * Experience writing SQL queries for data validation using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. * Expert-level experience with Selenium WebDriver. * Strong Java development skills with an emphasis on writing automated test code rather than record-and-playback automation. * Experience using integrated development environments (IDEs) such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans. * Experience working in Linux environments, including Bash scripting and use of vi. * Expertise in developing test plans, test cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios. * Demonstrated experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies. * Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and/or JMeter. * Strong software development skills to support automation framework development and maintenance. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
