Electrical Engineer - ACES
JOB SUMMARY
The Electrical and Instrumentation Designer is responsible for generating accurate engineering and construction deliverables for all project phases in a single or multidiscipline environment. This position provides technical guidance to drafters and assistant designers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Perform engineering analysis of projects including calculations and equipment selection for all project phases.
• Conduct surveys and gather field data as required.
• Prepare and interpret drawings, including schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
• Prepare engineering scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates for all project phases.
• Prepare fabrication and construction scopes of work, specifications, material take-offs (MTO), and change requests.
• Identify scope of work or design basis changes and initiate change management documents.
• Prepare and update status reports, forecasts, and related project controls tools.
• Perform quality review of computer-aided design (CAD).
• Ensure supplier data and drawings are in compliance with project design specifications.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide feedback to discipline lead engineer regarding progress on assigned tasks.
• Provide technical guidance to drafters, designers, engineering technicians, and engineers.
• Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
• Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
• Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to pass FE exam within one year of hire date.
• Possess a Valid State Driver's License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional Engineer License.
• Oil & Gas experience preferred

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
