Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Soldering Technician- Actuation- Floater.
The hours for this role are 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.50 - $27.50 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Soldering Technician- Actuation- Floater Utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform mechanical soldering and other manufacturing processes. Maintains standards of quality, production, and safety; complies with all company policies and works as part of a team to ensure that daily goals are met.
In this function you will:
• Be responsible for ensuring that compliance to Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are met.
• Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status and J-Standard certification.
• Perform manufacturing processes on low to moderate complexity assemblies following written instructions.
• Perform soldering operations of wires/electrical assemblies, while working under a microscope as required.
• Be able to perform low to moderate complexity test procedures using test equipment while following written acceptance documents.
• Document test results on data sheets and/or record test data in electronic data collection system.
• Be able to communicate problems in product or quality to supervisor or manager clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of relevant solder/electrical experience
• Minimum of 2 years Aerospace manufacturing OR military experience OR 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Previous experience using various solder equipment, hand tools and measuring devices.

Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma with skilled trade certification
• Associates Degree in related field of study
• 5 years of Aerospace solder and crimp experience
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
