Temp to Perm

Portsmouth, NH - all on-site to start, eventually 1 day per week remote



Our client is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The position is based in Portsmouth, NH and requires working onsite five days per week during the training period. Once fully trained, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team across a variety of HR functions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Process HR transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review work carefully and self-audit for quality and completeness.
  • Learn and manage HR processes from start to finish while understanding the impact of each step.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide exceptional internal customer service.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and HR systems to support daily operations.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Some human resources experience
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and audit work.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to quickly learn new processes.
