Learn more at li.me.
As the Operations Manager for Los Angeles, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the end-to-end success of Lime's operations. You will oversee all warehouse activities, including team management, vehicle repairs and maintenance, spare parts logistics, and process optimization. This role requires someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can manage large teams of mechanics and leads, and uses data-driven insights to drive efficiency, safety, and fleet reliability. You will be accountable for building strong operational processes that set the foundation for Lime's long-term success in the market.
This is a warehouse-based position that requires an onsite presence during assigned business hours.
What You'll Do:
  • Warehouse Management: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and staff across multiple shifts. This includes managing workforce schedules (including temps), resolving attendance and timesheet discrepancies, and planning staffing needs.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Ensure high fleet availability and reliability by monitoring repair output, mechanic performance, and quality standards.
  • Team Performance: Set clear KPIs for mechanic productivity and efficiency; provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action where needed.
  • Parts & Inventory Management: Oversee ordering, tracking, auditing, and usage of spare parts and tools; ensure accurate parts assignment and availability.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, PPE standards, and workplace compliance requirements; spearhead local safety initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with fleet operations, logistics, government relations, and product teams to ensure smooth coordination and compliance with regulations.
  • Reporting & Data Use: Analyze warehouse data, repair output, and performance metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and control costs.
  • Special Projects: Manage warehouse-focused initiatives such as Backlog Reduction Plans, Tool Management, PPE Standardization, and Fleet Refurbishment Projects.

About You:
  • 4+ years of experience in operations management, industrial & systems engineering, logistics, transportation, supply chain, data analytics or a related field.
  • Strong data analysis skills: intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to execution.
  • Knowledge of how a P&L functions
  • Ability to understand metrics and KPIs and the levers to pull to drive results
  • Comfortable with working on site and in a warehouse environment
  • Analytically minded with a strong understanding of real-time marketplaces (supply and demand economics) and the ability to navigate, decode, and use data to build compelling narratives and reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on, problem-solving environment with a high degree of self-direction.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English language skills

Preferred Experience:
  • SQL or business intelligence tools experience
  • Familiarity with city regulations and compliance frameworks in mobility, transportation, or related industries

U.S. Based Position - What We Offer:
  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: A choice of medical, dental, and vision plans. We also provide company-paid life and disability insurance and company-funded mental health benefits.
  • Financial & Retirement Planning: 401(k) plan with both pre-tax and Roth options, and access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a monthly company contribution.
  • Family & Fertility Support: Paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus fertility and family-forming benefits.
  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited vacation, paid leaves, and 10 company holidays.
  • Unique Lime Perks: Complimentary use of Lime vehicles in participating cities, a monthly phone allowance, dedicated learning and development days, and access to perks including One Medical, Wellhub, and Headspace.
