Job description

Position Overview:Kay and Associates is looking for a skilled Automated Program Technician/Instructor with extensive experience in Land Forces maintenance programs and data processing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, documenting, training, operating, and troubleshooting modern maintenance management information systems for the Kuwait Land Forces. This role requires a strong background in both data processing and aviation maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise data processing professionals on Kuwait Land Forces maintenance management functions.
  • Guide maintenance management personnel on applicable areas of automation.
  • Execute responsibilities from the Coordinator, including establishing standards, designing, testing, and implementing software.
  • Coordinate between work groups and maintenance managers.
  • Monitor programs using appropriate management software.
  • Provide technical advice on proposals and studies of short and long-term options for Land Forces maintenance automation.
  • Perform system administration duties for all maintenance LAN and WAN as directed.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and configure PCs within the Kuwait Land Forces.
  • Prepare and conduct formal classroom instruction and on-the-job training (OJT) as required.

Minimum Personnel Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with Land Forces Maintenance Programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of data processing experience.
  • Proficient with PC applications and computer hardware configuration and operation. Windows experience is required.
  • LAN training.
  • Experience in report generation and analysis.
  • Skilled in conducting formal training on computer hardware and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • No security clearance required.
