Job description

OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Task Description: The incumbent of this task will provide operational, administrative, and liaison support to the U.S. and Kuwait command elements. The Operations Coordinator supports the Kuwait Military Cooperation Directorate. Advisory assistance daily implementation of the Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA). The Operations Coordinator supports bilateral planning and execution and ensures timely, accurate reporting to senior leaders.

Task Requirements:

  1. Serve as the main administrative point of contact for inquiries involving the Kuwait Armed Forces and U.S. Armed Forces Plan and develop work processes and methods.
  1. Manage schedules, official correspondence, and records for Military Cooperation Directorate leadership.
  1. Coordinate with the KMOD Digital Document library to ensure up to date documents are maintained in the system.
  1. Support planning and execution of joint meetings, conferences and bi-lateral engagements.
  1. Draft, review, and route official correspondence, memoranda, and meeting minutes.
  1. Track issues, action items, and deliverables. Monitor critical tasks, milestones. and reporting deadlines for bilateral operations and exercises.
  1. Prepare and deliver operational briefings, situation reports, and compliance summaries for senior leadership.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A university degree, bachelor's degree or higher.
  1. Proficient in the use of computer word processing, database, and computer-based graphics/presentation development programs. Must have additional skills to perform research using the internet.
  1. No security clearance required.
