Role Overview
The Product Owner is accountable for defining and delivering solutions that drive real business and customer outcomes within a complex IT environment. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery-ensuring the team is always working on the right things and making measurable progress.
You will create clarity where there isn't any, align stakeholders who don't always agree, and drive delivery forward-consistently.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and prioritize the product backlog aligned to business outcomes
• Translate needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Partner with engineering to deliver incremental, high-quality value
• Lead Agile ceremonies and enable team effectiveness
• Drive decisions and manage tradeoffs across value, risk, and timelines
• Build strong understanding of customer needs and business goals
• Navigate a broad, complex stakeholder landscape across business and IT
• Communicate priorities, progress, and risks with clarity and consistency
• Coordinate across teams and dependencies to ensure end-to-end delivery
Core Experience
The role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and would require visiting the client's office on a regular basis (once a week or every 2 weeks).
• Product Owner / Product Management experience in Agile environments
• Proven ability to work in large, complex IT organizations
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to break down complex problems into actionable work
• Strong communication and data-driven decision-making skills
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
