Job description

Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor supports multiple active job sites and branch operations throughout the Milwaukee region and surrounding Wisconsin market, with occasional support in the Chicago area. This role combines both area-level EHS responsibilities and site-level safety leadership support in a highly field-oriented environment. The position is responsible for supporting safety compliance initiatives, conducting job site inspections, leading incident investigations, supporting client-facing safety activities, and partnering with operations leadership to drive strong safety performance across multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires an individual who can operate independently, manage competing priorities across multiple locations, and maintain strong communication with field leadership, employees, and customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across multiple active locations
• Support and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety standards
• Participate in and support safety stand downs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
• Maintain strong client-facing relationships and represent operations professionally on job sites
• Support branch operations and field leadership with ongoing safety initiatives and compliance
• Assist with safety reporting, documentation, and administrative tracking responsibilities
• Utilize MS Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication
• Travel throughout assigned territory to support operational and project safety needs
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while managing changing priorities and demands
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred
• Experience supporting multiple job sites, projects, or territories preferred
• Strong incident investigation experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
• Experience working in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related environments preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Travel Requirements
• Regional travel throughout Wisconsin and occasional travel into the Chicago market
• Estimated travel requirement of approximately 30-40%
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
