Job description

Locally owned company with over 100 years combined experience in the automotive reconditioning industry is expanding and is in need of a qualified and professional automotive paint technicians.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week

Benefits:

Responsibilities

  • Traveling to dealerships for on-site cosmetic repair.
  • Inspecting vehicles to be painted for repair.
  • Prepping and/or buffing defects.
  • Mixing paint to specific color using standard formulas or color charts.
  • Painting, sanding, masking, blending and/or polishing finish and retouching as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience Required
  • Need to have a valid driver's license & good driving record
  • Ability to interact with co-workers and customers.
  • Have at least two years of experience as an auto painter, prepping, and/or collision repair technician.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be an active listener and exercise sound judgment.
  • Must be a good multi-tasker.
  • The ability to follow complex instructions is a plus.
  • Should have ample knowledge of safety precautions.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals.
  • Time is spent working outside in both hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to wear gloves and eye and ear protection.
