A Day in the Life
As a Bilingual Contact Center Representative, you serve as a trusted financial resource for our members by providing exceptional service in both English and Spanish. Through inbound and outbound member interactions, you assist with account inquiries, fund transfers, loan payments, card disputes, online banking support, and a variety of other financial needs.
More than simply answering questions, you focus on building relationships and creating positive member experiences. By actively listening and asking thoughtful questions, you uncover member needs and recommend products and services that can help them achieve their financial goals. Whether helping a member save money, improve convenience, or find the right lending solution, you take a consultative approach that strengthens relationships and deepens member loyalty.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and care. You confidently handle difficult situations with patience and empathy, resolve concerns efficiently, and make appropriate referrals when specialized assistance is needed. Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have previous customer service experience. Prior contact center, call center, credit union, banking, or financial institution experience is strongly preferred.
Successful candidates will possess strong communication and phone skills, experience building relationships with customers or members, and the ability to identify opportunities to recommend products and services that meet member needs. Candidates should be comfortable working toward sales and referral goals while maintaining a service-first approach.
Additional qualifications include proficiency with computers and data entry, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent phone etiquette, basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while providing outstanding service.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping others. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, building rapport with members over the phone, and delivering personalized solutions that strengthen member relationships.
Schedule
This part-time position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM. to 7:00 PM, with every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location
This position can work at either the Magna location or FLSmidth in Midvale.
