For our client in Toronto -based which is a trusted, licensed Ontario general contractor specializing in turnkey construction, renovations, and project management across industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare sectors.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage daily site operations for restoration, renovation and general contractors projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can ensure site efficiency, safety, and quality.

Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain project schedules and scope.
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively address issues or delays to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OHSA regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to guide field operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, consultants, inspectors, and clients to report on-site progress and challenges.
  • Manage material deliveries, site inventory, and logistics to ensure timely execution and minimize disruptions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed daily site reports, work logs, and project documentation.
  • Participate in project start-up and close-out activities, including deficiency tracking, final inspections, and punch list completion.
  • Ensure safe and proper use, storage, and maintenance of site tools, equipment, and temporary structures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in construction, in general construction, restoration or renovation projects. ICI Projects.
  • Solid understanding of construction practices, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team coordination and problem-solving.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site logistics.
  • Proficiency in preparing site documentation and reports.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset.

Education & Certifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • IICRC Certification (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) is an asset.
